The Hospital Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This role involves cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, operating rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and other hospital areas to prevent the spread of infection and ensure a high standard of hygiene.

  • Clean and disinfect patient rooms, operating rooms, emergency rooms, and examination rooms
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and surfaces
  • Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
  • Handle and dispose of medical waste following hospital guidelines.
  • Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
  • Assist with room turnovers and discharge cleaning.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors.
